As a Black Muslim woman who is pursuing further education to help my community, my journey to Housing in Action was driven by a deep-seated passion for community empowerment and social justice. Housing in Action’s commitment to equitable housing and sustainable community development resonated deeply with my values, drawing me to join the mission. I am dedicated to using my unique perspective and experiences to contribute meaningfully to creating inclusive and thriving neighborhoods where everyone has access to safe and affordable housing.
