Housing in Action

Volunteer

Housing in Action welcomes all volunteers regardless of skillset or background. No experience is necessary and all tools are provided.

Give Back in Community

Housing in Action offers three types of volunteering: everyone welcome workdays, private group workdays, and skill-specific.

Everyone Welcome

Throughout 2026, Housing in Action will be hosting an everyone-welcome volunteer workday the first Friday of every other month.

Join us as we do everything from neighborhood cleanup and gardening to apartment renovations and repairs! Each volunteer workday will run from either 9am to 12pm or 1pm to 4pm.

Private Group

Are you a company or organization looking to organize a day for your team to get out and make a difference?

HIA is offering private group volunteer workdays on the third Thursday of every month. If those days don’t work for you, we have some flexibility!
